About GCR Integrity

Integrity is the essence of everything successful. -R. Buckminster Fuller

Our Company

GCR Integrity LLC is a small, woman-owned business, founded by Rita Emerick in 2012. Ms. Emerick has been involved in oil and gas consulting services since 2004 and was a founding partner at Kendrick Consulting LLC. At GCR Integrity, we are aimed at offering high-quality, cost-effective, and out-of-the-box solutions to address the regulatory compliance and data management needs faced by the oil and gas industry, with primary focus on pipelines and terminals.

Our Mission

We view ourselves as partners – not only with our clients, but also with regulatory agencies, other industry experts, vendors, and service providers. Our mission is to provide hands-on support and create innovative solutions to everyday challenges associated with managing asset integrity and helping our clients to make informed choices to improve and implement their regulatory compliance programs. Our motto is in our name: “Expect Growth, Compliance, and Reliability. Achieve Integrity.”

Compliance is not an option in today’s world of heavily regulated oil and gas industry. It is a critical element for avoiding penalties due to violations, preventing accidents, preserving good public image, and most of all, showing commitment in protecting public and environment. A major aspect of compliance involves proper design and construction according to applicable Federal, State, or local standards, regular inspections of assets at prescribed intervals, timely maintenance and repair actions, and good documentation. GCR Integrity assists our clients with development of comprehensive and detailed company policies and procedures, impeccable documentation that assures traceable and verifiable records, and, of course, effective methods for managing and integrating the data.

Reliability is synonymous with safety and economic profits. As  far back as the 19th Century, which saw the beginnings of the petroleum industry, the demand for petroleum and the number of pipelines and terminals have increased substantially, as the direct result of the industrial development and population growth in the U.S and across the globe. To ensure the reliability of pipeline systems, the industry developed dramatic improvements in the technology used to manufacture, install, monitor, and maintain petroleum pipelines and pipeline facilities. Reliability is a primarily concern for older assets and pipelines installed prior to modern safety regulations introduced in 1970s. We can help you chose appropriate strategies for implementing right integrity management and engineering practices to increase the reliability and the life span of your assets.

Achieve Integrity is an ultimate goal and overall objective for our company and our clients. It relies on consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. The integrity of our services helps our clients to achieve and maintain the integrity of their assets. High integrity reflects on the reputation of our clients as safe and reliable operators, and it also reflects on the reputation of our company as trusted and valuable resource.

Our Experience

We have experience working with large Fortune 500 companies, as well as small operators across the United States. Our projects range from small-scale consulting work on a specific one-time assignment to long-term commitments and on-going relationships with client companies. In most cases, our consultants are viewed as part of the team and considered an essential resource. We have worked with hazardous liquid and gas pipeline operators (including gathering, transmission, and distribution companies), refineries, and marketing terminals. GCR Integrity has been supporting pipeline operators with every aspect of pipeline safety and integrity management programs, including high consequence area (HCA) identifications, assessment plan developments, risk assessments, repair plans, identification and tracking of preventive and mitigative measures, program and procedure development, data management, records review, gap analysis, jurisdictional assessments, Federal and State audit preparation and support, etc.
